'Our 17 year old daughter was riding in a small horseshow on April 24th. The show was held inside. The horse she was riding has little show experience so she was being ridden over low fences to see how she would do. The large doors at the back of the arena were open so the horses could enter and exit the ring. On their last time round, as she came over a fence by the open doors, her horse decided to go through the doors. there was no room for both horse and rider to get through the gap so our daughter was slammed in to the wall face first. We were amazed when she got to her knees and appeared to be fine. A doctors exam diagnosed her with slight concussion abd a small sprain to muscle around her collar bone. 'I have been riding for 20 since the age of six I have never thankfully been involved in any serious accidents, that was until last Sunday, 24th September. I was involved in a freak accidednt on a donation ride. The horse I was riding stumbled through some sticky ground causing him to fall and throwing me over the front. Witnesses state that the horse then used my head as a stepping stones to stand back up. After being airlifted to hospital, I luckily only sustainted 2 Black eyes, broken nose, whiplash and neck injuries, a sprained wrist and bruised ribs. Thankfully I had recently purchased a new Charles Owen Adventura skull cap. There is extensive damage to this cap as you can imagine and I have been told by the doctor that I was lucky to be alive and that the skull cap saved my life. I am now obviously going to buy a new skull cap for when I get back in the saddle. I will definately be buying another Charles Owen Skull cap and will be recommending Charles Owen to family and friends.'
