Charles Owen Enjoys Huge Presence at Hickstead with the Charles Owen Shopping Village and International Riders Lounge
Charles Owen continues its 2012 partnership with The All England Jumping Course at Hickstead with the opening of a Trade Stand in the Charles Owen Shopping Village and the launch of the International Riders’ Lounge for the enjoyment of this year’s International riders.
Hickstead - the home of British show jumping – was established in 1960 by the late Douglas Bunn and is considered one of the premier equestrian venues in the world. Offering six arenas, permanent seating for over 5,000 spectators, 26 corporate hospitality suites, and conferencing and entertainment facilities for up to 250, Hickstead is an impressive setting.
The Charles Owen Shopping Village was launched during last month’s successful British Jumping Derby Meeting, and will continue throughout The Royal International Horse Show, July 17 – 22.
The Charles Owen Shopping Village is located just outside the main competition arena, where spectators and riders alike enjoy world class shopping. Savvy shoppers can visit the Hickstead website to download valuable coupons for the retailers located within the Charles Owen Shopping Village to enjoy considerable savings. Numerous retailers will have additional Charles Owen helmets in stock and Charles Owen sales reps will be on hand to conduct professional fittings and ensure the perfect style and fit.
Additionally, Charles Owen will host the International Riders’ Lounge for another year. Throughout the duration of the Royal International, Charles Owen will provide comforting hospitality and relaxation for competing International riders.
Roy Burek, Managing Director of Charles Owen & Co., commented, “We are pleased to sponsor Hickstead and the Charles Owen Shopping Village and to have such a significant presence within the Village both in our own trade stand and in the trade stands of our numerous stockists. We look forward to welcoming International riders to the International Riders’ Lounge for rest and relaxation both before and after their performances. Like Hickstead, Charles Owen & Co has a rich tradition in British show jumping and we enjoy our high visibility at this esteemed venue.”
