Charles Owen Wraps up Final Week of Winter Equestrian Festival Sponsorship

With the twelfth week of world class competition at The Winter Equestrian Festival, coming to an end, Charles Owen celebrates its circuit long partnership as sponsor of the International Rider Lounge.
The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) circuit ran from January 12 through April 1, 2012. The show attracted top riders and Olympians from around the world to compete in show hunters, jumpers and equitation. For the second year, Charles Owen has partnered with the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) as sponsor of the International Rider Lounge. Centrally located just outside the ingate to the International Arena and adjacent to the main schooling area, the lounge has been perfectly situated for riders moving between the schooling and competition arenas.
Throughout the circuit, the lounge has provided riders a comfortable refuge area to relax before or after a class or watch a schooling session. The lounge featured drinks and refreshments for riders, treats for the horses and Nespresso coffee complimentary to those who visited the lounge.
In addition to the International Rider Lounge, Charles Owen also sponsored the Low Amateur/Owner Jumper Division each week of the Circuit. This division culminated each Sunday with the Amateur/Owner Jumper Classic and the presentation of a Charles Owen helmet to the Division Champion.
Throughout the Circuit, Charles Owen representatives were on site to answer any questions of helmet fit and style and to take measurements to ensure proper helmet fit. Bringing this service directly to the riders, Charles Owen routinely traveled the show grounds and stabling area in the “Charles Owen Helmet Fitting Golf Cart” offering measurements and fittings on location.
Charles Owen also presented a “Lunch & Learn,” on March 15, 2012, with noted Olympian Anne Kursinski. “Lunch & Learn” weekly sessions are an opportunity for sponsors to provide riders, trainers and owners with access to noted speakers in the equestrian field.
